We're Shutting Down Our Site.
Hey friends,
I'm writing today to let you know about some upcoming changes at Warp Academy. As the landscape in the music and education industry evolves, we must adapt too.
Since our inception in 2012, we've been creating and selling online courses, sample packs, and other music production tools. Unfortunately, this side of the business has become increasingly unsustainable due to a variety of factors—including a dramatic rise in the costs of all the services and platforms required to operate our website.
After much soul-searching and careful consideration, I’ve decided to close the Warp Academy website, along with all associated courses, products, and business activities. This choice wasn’t made lightly. I know it impacts many of you, and for that I am truly sorry.
My personal vision has always been to help music producers master their craft and elevate their art. Warp Academy, as you know it, was just one way of pursuing that mission. Now, I feel it’s time for a new direction—one that allows me to focus more fully on what matters most.
Is Warp Academy disappearing? No—just this particular version of it. I believe that letting go of the old is necessary to make way for something new and better.
I'm going back to my roots, reimagining things from the ground up.
Before there was Warp Academy, there was just me—Vespers—sharing knowledge on YouTube. When I think back to that time, it was the simplest, purest form of my vision: to teach and empower.
YouTube is still here—and it’s bigger and more exciting than ever. That’s where you’ll find me, sharing knowledge without paywalls.
What This Means for Our Customers.
To help you through this transition, we’re giving you ample time to access and download your purchased content before the site closes permanently.
- Membership Subscribers: All subscriptions will be cancelled as of October 15th, 2025. You will not be billed after this date.
- Downloadable Product Customers (e.g., sample packs): Please ensure you have downloaded and backed up your files, as we will no longer be hosting any content after October 15th, 2025.
- Course Purchasers (Perpetual Access): We regret that we cannot offer ongoing access to purchased courses after the closure. Please log in and download any course materials before October 15th, 2025. After this, course videos and materials will no longer be available, and support will cease. However, we did sell the courses to you with the expectation of perpetual access and it's important to us to make good on that so we have set your course videos to be downloadable. See how to download your course videos below. You can start downloading them right now. After the site sunset date of [date] you will no longer have access to download these.
- No Exceptions: After the sunset date, there will be no access to the site, videos, courses, or downloads of any kind—no exceptions.
Downloadable Content - IMPORTANT.
If you've purchased downloadable content like sample packs or other digital products on this version of the website:
- Download and backup all of your purchases well before October 15th, 2025.
- Upon purchasing you were e-mailed a receipt from the site with a link to your downloads, as well as presented with an order received page with your download links.
- Backup your downloads. Warp Academy will not be hosting or able to provide access if you lose your files.
- If you purchased a downloadable product years ago on a previous version of the website, it may no longer be available. Not all content was migrated to this version of the site.
How to Download Course Videos.
If you've purchased a course, your videos are now downloadable and will be until the sunset date of October 15th, 2025. Get started early as the videos must be downloaded individually. Here’s how to download your videos from the site:
- Login to the site and go to “My Courses”
- Select a course and navigate to a page with a video embedded
- Click the Share icon in the upper right of the video player
- Click the Vimeo link to go to the video page on Vimeo.com
- Under the video player, click the download icon below the title
- Choose your desired resolution and click the download icon next to it
- Repeat for each video you wish to save
- Sorry, there is no "bulk" way to do this so individual downloads is what we've been able to offer
Note: We are allowing downloads temporarily to fulfill our commitment to customers. It is your responsibility to download all content before the deadline. We won’t be able to help retrieve materials after the closure.

Content may not be shared, distributed, or used for any other purpose—please respect the trust we’re placing in you by allowing downloads.
